Truck Won't Accellerate After 366 Spring

I Just Got Through Installing The 366 Spring.
Thought I Did It Alright But It Will Only Idle.
If You Touch The Throttle It Will Die.
I Let It Warm Up And It's Still The Same. This Is My Work Truck Any Help Is Apprecated.

did you index the throttle shaft correctly?

The Index Slipped When Going Back Togather.it Runs So Fine Now!!!

glad you got it going! seems to become a common issue when taking the pump top off. indexing is a big deal! pay attention to where the marks line up before you remove the linkage.

I don't see a reason to take linkage off.To change out govener spring.
However the teeth were so fine I thought I had it index right (like how it came off) BUT the eyes aren't what they use to be.

apparently you dont have to take the throttle linkage off. i didnt know that until i was done too that would have saved me a lot of hassle. its nice once you get it right though huh? have fun

no you don't have to remove the linkage. however, while the top's coming off, it's a good idea to replace the o-ring on the throttle shaft. i replaced every o-ring i possibly could when i did mine just for the added assurance.
