Truck Won't Accellerate After 366 Spring
I Just Got Through Installing The 366 Spring.
Thought I Did It Alright But It Will Only Idle.
If You Touch The Throttle It Will Die.
I Let It Warm Up And It's Still The Same. This Is My Work Truck Any Help Is Apprecated.

glad you got it going! seems to become a common issue when taking the pump top off. indexing is a big deal! pay attention to where the marks line up before you remove the linkage.
I don't see a reason to take linkage off.To change out govener spring.
However the teeth were so fine I thought I had it index right (like how it came off) BUT the eyes aren't what they use to be.

no you don't have to remove the linkage. however, while the top's coming off, it's a good idea to replace the o-ring on the throttle shaft. i replaced every o-ring i possibly could when i did mine just for the added assurance.
