truck shifts to rapidly
well i adjusted my shifter linkage in the truck, but it seams to shift to fast, what is the proper adjustment for the TPS sensor?how stretched or compressed should the spring be? or from the end of the TPS housing in the bracket to the bracket. or tell me where to measure from to get it

The TPS has more to do with the OverDrive.
Consider adjusting the TV cable instead. There's a blonde nylon clip on top of the TV cable mount. Pry it up to free the cable for adjustment.
- Sliding the cable housing forward (loosening the cable) will make shifts earlier.
- Sliding the cable housing backward (tightening the cable) will make shifts later.
Make the adjustments in approx 1/8" increments, driving around the block to check. Check both part throttle as well as WOT performance.
Be aware, this is only good for MINOR shift-point adjustments. Larger adjustments will require going into the valve-body.
Hope this helps.
