Nice truck!
I want that WC 1? Hard to tell with the later style combat wheels.

You have a sharp eye buckshot! The front's are from the 42 and on 3/4 Ton, mine is a WC41 (I think) 1941. I have the flathead sitting at the machine shop, but I really want to put a 4BT in there with one fat black stac with rain cap up the back of the cab and put in POD's and perform all the pump butchery Wanna style so I can shoot plumes of nighttime in the air!

I don't think its a WC41. It looks like the hood has too much of a slope. Were you able to get the original DOD #s off of the the hood? Lite sanding on the hood will usually bring the #s out. Or, look on the inside frame rail on the drivers side, the Vin/DOD # should be stamped in.

I have pictures of the WC41, and it looks to me to be identical. Mine has dualies and a custom military pickup box that was adapted from a larger truck. The WC41 was a 1941 chassis cab dualie truck also. But that plus $1 will get you a cup of java!

COOL! I did not see the dualls. Here is some helpful info on helping to identify.

This how I identified my WC 1 when I had it. It broke my heart to get rid of it. I'm looking for another one.

Thanks, I have a copy of that! I have had this truck for 23 years! I traded a 48 Ford F3 pickup for it, and I paid $100 for that. Since then i have bought a chassis with all the running gear and an extra front grille and nose for $500 from a chap in Missouri. Now I'm in the dilemma of weather to restore it completely or to "enhance" it. I'm leaning toward enhancing it but trying to keep the original look.

SAWEET! I hope I can get my truck looking that good some day. Just a bit of body work to do (ok a lot). What kind/style rims are those? I want to replace my stockers with something like you have.
