Question Transfer Case Clocking?

On my Crew conversion I am trading the Getrag for a 6 speed Allison automatic. On the donor club cab the transfer case hung down at an angle on the passenger side. If I remove one stud from the TC, I can bolt it directly to the back of the Allison. The problem is when bolted on, the transfer case sits level (instead of clocked down). My question is, will I have front drive shaft problems from the increased driveshaft angle? Will the double Cardan joint at the transfer case handle the increased angle? Or do I need to call up advanced adapters and get a clocking ring for the transfer case? TIA -Chuck

try it, and if your angle is giving interference, you can change the output front yoke, and d-shaft yoke, to a 1410, more angle you need anyway, much stronger where it needs to be, and eliminates the cardan joint.
