Trans, fuel cell, battery is in. She fired right up......
Its been a long build and its far from over, but this weekend with a friends help we got alot done and finaly fired the motor up. It ran nice and smooth and held 65psi oil pressure. It definatly sounds different than before. Like a finely oiled sewing machine. Hahaha.
I need to adjust the pump down, the fuel screw is too far in and if you tap the throttle it hangs, and the one time I wrapped it good, it tried to run away. Idle was pretty hazzy, but its a new motor so that was probibly assembly oil and such. I made a video of the first fire up, once I get time.
The trans was very easy to install, took about 20 minutes and I cant work too hard with these rods in my spine. So if I could do this in 20 minutes, it makes me feel even more ripped off by the shop who charged me $900 to put the clutch in.
The driveshaft is in. The front half is from the ext cab and the back half is from the reg cab. Together it fit perfect!

If you weld it good, I'll bet it'd be just as good as a spool. It wouldn't be similar to a locker as it wouldn't "unlock" when you back out of the throttle .
