Question tranny slip

Last fall I put a Sun Coast converter in, and ajusted the bands. Itshifts fine when cold, seems to slip between 2-3 when warm. worse when at a less then full throttle.
Has anyone wired the t/v cable to the full thottle position.

I use zip ties since they are flexible, easy to remove and install. I've never tied it all the way open, but I have with only about 1/2" of travel left. If you tighten it that much it will shift very firm but it wont shift til 2500 or more rpm. I did this lil trick for pulling and racing when I wanted it to shift at higher rpms. Its worth trying and finding out where you want it.

Hey ACE, out of curiosity did you get that 47rh swapped into your truck or are you still abusing your stock 46rh?

I zip tied it back to about 1/2" from full throw. shifts alot better. Thanks.
Does this put a lot more pressure to the cooler lines?

Did you do said zip tying at the trans or at the throttle?

it just ups the line pressure so it shifts firmer and and at later rpm. You can also adust the pressure, bands, and shift delay with the trans pan off. Its in the sticky and shows you how to do this and service your trans. I did this and it helped as well with my old trans.

I zip tie mine at the throttle cable. Easier access and it works, just snip the excess off so it doesn't happen to hook on anything or hang your throttle up.
