My GMC ran ATF oil in the 205 and never gave any problems. When you get right down to it, what is going to wear out/break in the 205 from running light oil?

It just seems that 99% of all gear boxes ever made use viscous oil for its "gear climbing" capabilities. Engineers can be a confusing bunch...Mark
