traction with no bed

Do any of you guys run or know someone without a bed on thier truck? Will it really hurt my "grassy" and muddy traction?

I plan to pull a 40' gooseneck and wouldnt mind loosing the bed, but i only have a posi two wheeler and im begging for traction as is in many situations.

When I took my bed off, I had no real traction at all. It would spin just parking it in my driveway(very slight hill, semi-loose gravel) Why you want to take the bed off?

When i was running with no bed, or my cheesy flatbed, i had NO traction whatsoever. Even with a bed on the truck, my traction is poor at best. considering all the weight is up front and my semi truck drive traction recaps suck, its no wonder i get stuck on wet grass.

I had to pull out my CTD and 16t trailer the other day off wet grass with my '84 toyota 4 cylinder.
