who needs a headliner? Yeah it was the worst piece by far. The truck looks completely different inside now. Trying to figure out what gauges to get and what to do with the gauge cluster that's already there. I'm not sure if i like the wood grain w/ black trim. I like the chrome bezel idea . I've been looking for my old gauge cluster but can't find it
Well its about that time again

Haha yeah. Who ever is buyin picks the beer picks the brew. Coors Light kind of tastes like seltzer water, ever notice that? Bud Light has the same sort of taste but with more carbonation i think. Either way you can't tell the difference between light beers. But the difference between Coors and Budweiser is more different because of the water they use.

I used dupli-color redneck, its supposedly the same color as the truck. As for the bezel its definitely out of place. I'm working on covering/replacing the wood grain laminate. Idk if diamond plate, stainless steel or a sheet aluminum would look best. Also i can have a space for gauges where the cummins "dummie lights" are :-D ad removed

i was thinking the same with the diamond plating, except i thought if it was a sunny day there may be a glare and it would be distracting lol. so i thought i would get the rubber form of diamond plating and i could paint it any color i wanted, also it would be easier to work with.

nice looking interior, once you work out that wood issue you are going to be set. Did you clean/paint/do anything to the metal under the headliner, or did you simply remove the headliner and that is what was underneath. the bare metal looks nice, has me thinking of removing my headliner in my truck. Also you asked for a cardboard headliner piece, what are you planning to do for a headliner, just curious.

SparkplgsR4Cars: I didn't touch the metal under the headliner, it was removed by crossy's son before i even saw the truck. I have say, 4 yards of micro-suede which is black, and thought it would look nice as a headliner, and it wouldn't fade because its on the ceiling :-).
