I'll be running a set of 33/12.5/16 Interco STS's and they are just a smidge bigger than the 285s

The magic crawl ratio is about 15-1

2nd low is 21.15
3rd low is 11.61
1st high is 19.91

This is all figured with an NV4500 also, so the rag shouldn't be to far off from these figures

What are the gear ratios in the rag anyway

So how much do you have to slip the clutch to get the sled moving in 2nd lo?

Also the gear ratios in the rag' are pretty close to the nv, they may be just a little lower as I know the split between 3rd and 4th is larger than the nv.

It all depends on track conditions and the sled, I usually slip it a little on a tight track and on a loose track I come out under the charger to keep from blowin the tires off it and when it lights I just feather the throttle to keep traction

The ratios for an NV are

5.61
3.04
1.67
1.0
.76

That kinda looks like what my springs look like under normal conditions. I don't have a 7-spring pack though.

How many times you hooked that thing now?

Most of my southern tracks are real sticky clay, they'll hold a lot of power but you see lots of breakage then our northern tracks are right in the middle of loose and sticky kind of a sandy clay. Pretty good track prep around here too only got a couple of junk tracks
