Took my denny t pin out

I took my denny t pin out today to try and save on fuel as I have a heavy foot. My mileage dropped considerably when I put it in last year. But I'm also 23 and like to use the right pedal.

My boost numbers dropped from 32psi to 25psi. Egts dropped to around 800deg now unloaded.

Truck feels WAY WAY slower.

Had it in for about 15000kms so far. There is a groove in the pin but nothing to worry about. Still highly recommened to anybody.

I took the old smokey out of my five speed one time to try it in another truck, I couldn't believe how doggy it felt especially on the top end.

The DennyT pin will get you up to speed quick. After running one and taking it out the truck just feels like a dog. Best money i've spent for a quick upgrade. I don't think my fuel mileage changed much due to having to really hotfoot it to get up to speed, put the pin back in and the ole truck came back to life. Ease up on the skinny pedal to save fuel.

yeah i remember when i had my bully dog pin in and took it out to sell it and i put my stock pin back in, It wouldn't smoke anymore! and i lost like 3 lbs of boost and the acceleration was crappy and there was no topend! towing sucked too!!! I was surprised how much a fuel pin made a difference.

I've found that with my DennyT pin my highway mileage hasn't really suffered if I'm not going too fast but my city mileage is noticeably worse. I now have some DDP4s and am seriously thinking I will remove the DennyT pin when I install them to save mileage a little. I don't have any tranny work done to the truck yet so I don't really want to kill the trans. I don't have the money to do any work on it yet.
