Tires

What is the largest tire that I can reasonably put on my stock 16X6 Wheels? Looking at BFG All Terrains, other suggestions welcomed. (I think I want to stay away from mudders)

I had 1100R16 (they measure to about 40" diameter) Michlien XL's on my stock rims, and stock truck no lift, just a little trimming.

265/75's is what we did at our shop. <--about the same as 255/85 just a bit wider and shorter (evens out when inflated to be about the same)

are thos 265/85s much wider than the stock 235/85s? I do not understand this number system. Is the first number the height, and the second the width, or vice-versa?

the 255 is the tread width in mm. the 85 means that the sidewall is 85% as tall as the tread is wide. I hope that makes sense

255/85

Anybody make a 255/85 that's not a mudder? I want bfg all-terrains, but they don't come in this size. They do come in 265/75s, but they aren't any taller than the factory 235/85s. Does anyone make a tire like this?
