Found a set of good Michelin 235/85r16's in some online classifieds. They are on 8 bolt GMC wheels off a 98 truck. They (wheels) wouldn't fit our trucks would they?
$250 tires $350 tires+wheels.

 

If they are steel wheels, probably not. Aluminum wheels will, but they have some deep back spacing and will tuck way under the wheel wells on our trucks. The steel wheels have the same back spacing too. I'd be up for getting the tires, but pass on the wheels.

 

They will fit if you open up the center hole to the Furd/Dodge dimension.

Not a huge deal, but you will need access to a pretty large Lathe and dismount the tires.

 

$250 for a set of good Michelins is still a pretty good deal.

 

The tires are about half tread on the big blocky all-terrains. Worth $250 I think. Didn't think the wheels would fit, not that I can afford much right now (off work from surgery). Anyone in Kansas interested they were on nextech classifieds.
