Timing adjustment

Just reciently checked the "KDP" and secured it, bought the Blue Point wrench to adjust the timing. I loosen the three bolts on the pump housing and one on the rear braket, and one metal vacuum line and and used a blont punch and tappet it on one of the wings where the bolt face. I was tapping perty good and that mama jama was not moving, did I miss some other bolts?

take a wratchet strap and hook it to somthing stationary across from the pump and give it a few cranks it will move. but make sure it is only a little bit some go all the way to the head others go 1/8th i went 1/8th the fuel lines act as a spring and unless you have a constant pressure on them it will not move so try the strap idea thats what i did and it worked great.

Aren't you supposed to loosen the fuel lines before moving the pump?

No, you don't have to.

Ratchet strap and then whack it with a rubber or plastic mallet.
