Got back late last night from picking up my "new to me" 92 4x4, standard cab with 115k on the clock. Getrag 5 speed....what a hoot to drive, you guys with the gterags have been holding out. Pics will posted as soon as the weather clears up.
The beauty of taking trips like this is meeting people and I got to meet Fred Swanson for some pre trip work and also some much needed trouble shooting of an electrical issue. Fred worked on the truck Friday night and suggested I come back saturday morning to do some further trouble shooting.
Got the issue fixed and was on my way by 11inish.
Just wanted to acknowledge and thank Fred for his assistance: it made the trip worthwhile...
