throttle problem

throttle problem

i have just bought my first gen. one of the things i don't like is the throttle. it seems very hard to push. also real low feels like i have to floor it every where i go. i have giving everything a shot of wd-40 but didn't seem to help. im thinking it is the kickdown cable it seems hard to push?? anythoughts

any thoughts on this kinda bothers me im thinking its the kickdown .

Mine is hard to push and its all new cables! I think it might just be that we are moving a lot more things with the pedal than other vehicles.

Check the bellcrank. I've seen them with so much rust on the shaft that they bind.
