Is there a stock block heater?

There is 120v AC plug wire on the passenger side of the engine, the other end of the wire is a two-prong round connector with threads. This looks like original equipment.

I cant find anything to connect it to?

I have a row of freeze plugs in the block but no heater. Was there a block heater at one time that was replaced with a freeze plug?

Was the heater an option or standard equipment?

Standard equipment. It's usually in one of the freezeout holes, passenger side of engine, towards the front.

like Den said,
look on the passenger side of the block, alongside the oil filter. If it's not there look behind the turbo

None of my freeze plugs have the connector, that's why I posted this question. I guess one of them must have been replaced. Perhaps it was leaking and they replaced it?

sound like as good a reason as any. The only other thing I could think of would be the connector broke off while someone was trying to replace the block heater??? You'd be able to see that however...and it might leak. Before you ask, mine broke trying to replace it, there is not alot to get ahold of to pry it out of the hole

Most if not all heaters have a nut or bolt in the center. These are rubber type
freeze plugs. Usually to the rear of the oil cooler. NO not made of rubber, it's
just the seal
