Yep, a SAWEET rig! Don is a nice guy and the home is in VERY nice condition. He is on 1stgen.org but I do not think here. I have met him in person. Over at 1stgen.org he goes by michigandon

prolly pretty loud with no engine cover . you can always double insulate the new cover that will have to be built.
Man that big thing had no trouble getting up to highway speed.

I just drove 1200 miles in our 460 powered class C motor home and let me tell you..7.8 mpg bucking a headwind to Wisconsin, and then loading our 1985 crew cab on the trailer behind and running home in Fog/wind/rain/hail/and apparently just missing a tornado we got 8.4 mpg both measured via GPS. The entire trip I kept thinking... why not a 6BT a 4spd auto and a transfer case...but the noise worries me.
