Swapping pumps TIPS?

The pump and gear are keyed. If you put the key back it the slot you are close, you will just have to move the pump around to get it running right.
What I wondered was if he had the cover off , and the gear out , if maybe it got put back in turned half a turn or something, I just wasn't sure if both trucks were put on TDC before the pump was pulled off , etc. Oh well , doesn't matter now , he got it goin
