I got a lot of work to do but I think I can save it. Salt has taken its toll. I used to work with the original owner at a Highway Department and we put out a ton of salt and then would drive home on it. It was always driven at the worst times and got severe doses of the stuff.

Nice havin the PC60, that's basically my crane of choice. I'm in the same boat. Spread the salt, then romp thru it. It stinks. Calcium Chloride in the mix really speeds things up. I am looking at a sacrificial vehicle for those dreadful days.Maine is worse. Good progress, but it is always easier to take apart than put together. Stay motivated. Anything from this part of the country is always a rescue mission.Other parts don't know how good they have it. Constant uphill battle, I hate rust.

I am working one the gauge pod this weekend. It is going to be a 7 gauge pod and fit on the dashboard. As far as the truck it is in one piece but no paint and not finished on the body work. I had to stop working on it due to winter.

Pictures of the frame plating, needle gunned, painted with ROR 15
Don't mind the date on pictures, camera date was wrong. It was sumer of 2008
I had to replace all rear spring hangers. The frame was pitted very badly so I just plated it from under the cab all the way back to the bumper.

Cab pictures. This thing was scary rusted.
Each side was done this way. I cut out the floor from hump over and included inner and outer rocker panels in one piece.
New pieces going in.
Both sides replaced

The frame was almost unusable. One more season in the salt and it would have been gone. I could stick a screwdriver through the spring hangers on the rear. Also when I took off the fenders the cab actually collapsed on to the frame. She was a flintstone rig for sure.
