summer grid heater problem
summer grid heater problem
I have a 92 Ram and am having problems with the grid heater taking forever to work. I know its supposed to kick on below 60 degrees but it takes forever in the mornings to stop cycling. It only got down to about 52 last night and took over ten minutes to stop cycling this morning. Is this normal? Ive searched and read that its supposed to stop once the truck reaches temp but it doesn't.
any help would be appreciated

Un-plug it. You won't need it until at least 0*F if your fuel system is tight.
They do take FOREVER to quit cycling in the mornings.
