Question stock seats

this may be a funny stupid question but is there a way i can remove a bolt or just break the seat so it tilts all the way back like it does foward, cause when i travel i'd like the seat to recline just a couple inches, i though i could move the seat foward a bit and it would just lay back agaisnt the back of the cab, also is it possible to make a small bracket to put under or on top of our brackets that hold the seat to riase the hieght of which you sit?

so those metal brackets on the sides of the seats are what keep them from leaning back, will it mess up the way the seat rides?
