I live in Oregon, and you know how it rains here. I havent had a bit of problem with soot. seems the flex pipe has enough space to let the water out.

If you are considering what others suggest, this is what it might look like with shorter stacks. (This was done in a hurry, gotta cut the grass. )

Either way, it looks good.

Hey, that's good work! The blurriness just looks like heat from a running engine.

I would think stacks can be found at the junk yard but not sure where everyone is getting them.

This is a pic from when it was almost done. I took two 4" clamps and put them at the bottom corners to hold the bottom pipes to the bed. And this is what it looks like when the motor is mostly cold. Anybody need any 4 or 5" clamps? I've got about 8 extra 5's and 2 extra 4's, and a 4ft section of 4" alumanized pipe I don't need...for some reason I don't quite pay attention to the buttons I push and get not quite what I thought I ordered, lol. I got everything from www.airflo.com except the stacks which came from ebay.

I guess you can't go through the drive-thru anymore, huh?
It looks great! Glad to see it done on a standard rear axle. I've only seen them done on duallys. I'm wondering how it might look on mine.....

The shorter adjusted pics look more proportional. They look cool, anyhow. I like the miter cut stacks.
