Spool valve?

Anyone know of any spool valves for a t3-t3 that will work with a divided housing charger?

I have a fair bit of low boost, lower rpm haze that I would like to clean up.

The BD one is nice and all but it's real expensive and it doesn't look like they make it for a t3-t3 application. Just t4-t4 and t3-t4

Found a maker over on cf. If I buy it and get it on I can update folks on it if they like. It seems in some applications it has been met with great results.

Wouldnt you need to have a non divided exhaust manifold in order for this to work, or it would block off three cylinders? I know most of the time theyre ran from an undivided exhaust housing to a twin scroll turbine.housing and they usually block off the gated section. Just curious because if they dont act like an exhaust brake on three cylinders like im picturing in my head then im interested. Let me know what you find out!

Good question. The person I'm buying it from has 2 different types. One being over an inch thick and you can drop it in and not worry about a nondivided manifold or cutting into your divided manifold because of its design.
The second one he makes is 5/8" thick and you either need to run a non divided manifold or chop about an inch of the divider out of your manifold so the gases can be diverted to one volute of the turbo.
He runs a nice actuator that will allow the blocked volute to open gradually so it doesn't slam open and you don't lose drive pressure and spool up when it opens. I'm told the actuator can be set to open between 7-20psi.

It should be a nice addition and allow me to make enough boost to clear the low throttle smoke.

In order for this to even work, you do need a twin scroll charger.

For space reasons in my ford, I'm forced to get the 5/8" thick one and I will cut some of my ATS manifold divider out.

All said and done I'm curious to know what it will do to fuel mileage... I haze a little bit out the pipe at hwy speeds all the time and still get 18.5mpg going 65+. I wonder if it will be better because that's cleared, or if it won't be because of the increased drive pressure.

My s362 cruised at 5-7psi. This turbo cruises at 3-4psi.
