anyone had one of these apart? the speedo gives speed, and the odometer just up and quit, just shy of 300k, thinking a gear stripped? may be a speedo shop in the future

thanks dave, i checked that out after i tore it apart, and had already been to pick a part, i ripped 4 speedometers apart, looking for the small gear, every one was missing teeth, and extremely brittle, as they age, they decompose to the point, a new purchase is mandatory, dont waste time with anything but new, as the parts need to be refreshed with light grease.
