Hey Jim, congrats.

I have to say though, you can make them go faster. A can of Dew and a Hershey bar will wind a four year old up to the red line in a hurry. Then you give them back to Mom.

Congratulations. My first grandaughter was born 16 months ago and now she is walking and talking. I hope you live close so you can see her everyday. If so, you have no idea how she will change your life. I guarentee your truck will be put on the back burner !!

Thanks everyone, we are still waiting to hear the name they picked out.

They have been married for 9 years going on 10 but they wanted to wait until they both had their Masters Degree first before they had any kids.

They live only about 21.84 miles away from us I can get there in less than 27 minutes.

Congratulations Papaw Jim!! I think I would wait before I gave the child a girl name. I have a friend who thought theirs was a girl and set up the nursery for a girl. The day it was born...surprise it was a boy! I guess things were hiding when the UT was done. Anywho, I pray it is healthy with very strong lungs on its birthday!! .....BrainFade I read your post and fell off my puter chair laughing so hard. My wife teaches 1st. grade and her kids come to school with stuff like that for lunch....go figger!

Congratulations!!!

One of my 4 children has children 3 of them - Two girls and one boy ranging from 1-11 years old. I have had a blast from day one.

You are going to have so much fun! It is a whole different experience.

They are pretty confident it is going to be a she from all of the ultrasounds and the lack of things to be seen but there is always a chance.

All that I want is for it to be healthy, after that nothing else matters but I would really like to have a granddaughter, and be healthy, did I mention that yet.

Congrats Jim. I'm sure you'll find a bunch of gadgets you can wire up into her crib.

Congratulations Jim! I'm the proud father of four very healthy active daughters, 18 months to 11 years old. I am truly blessed, I wish the same for you and your family.

Hmmmm....Is there a 1st generation crew cab build in your future....???
