Small Twins set-up?

Would a H1c over an Hx55 be a good street twins set up?

He likes it, its a tad laggy for towing Xheavy loads but works good and egts are in check .

put some studs in it or you will blow the HG for sure my son is hitting 60+ psi and we ended up doing the HG and studs last month

Dosent he have a wastgate set-up on there, if so how does he have it hooked up?

the hx35 has a WG but it just dumps into the HX55, at this point no need for an external WG not till he ups the fuel
His truck will pull with my 2001 and runs lower EGTs to boot

what does that acually do by dumping into the hx55. wouldnt that be like not havin one at all since the exhaust gas is still goin into the bigger turbo?

it keeps the bigger turbo in its effective map and reduces the work on the smaller turbo. By the primary doing more work, you have more volume and cooler intake temps.

Glad to hear that 55 worked out for him. Bad thing about fast spooling is that overboosting can happen. You guys going to have another get together down there in Yuba City before John moves eastward?
