Skyjacker 2" leaf spring input
I can't decide if I should go with the skyjackers or oem units, my truck is designed to haul and tow. Does anyone use the 2" springs on a work truck? How do they handle with 4,500lbs in the bed? Another quick question, are there different makers of oem springs? I need a heavy duty, quality product.

But as stated before I would have rather made brackets and installed air bags up front rather than spend money on new springs, especially for a work truck.
Skyjacker Two inch Lift
I installed the two inch lift from Skyjacker in several hours. Did not waste time re-arching the garbage stock springs. I also installed the recommended shocks from Skyjacker. I have factory six inch blocks in the rear and haul construction goods on a regular basis. The ride was greatlly improved and my wife now doesn't mind driving in it. Here is a pic.
What size tires are those eaesflyer? Also isen't it possible to replace the 6 inch blocks with Skyjacker 6 inch lift springs? Will that make for stock ride hieght still? Also what about axle wrap won't that correct alot of it?
The tire size is 235/85R16 load range E. The six inch blocks were factory units and the truck now sits empty with a slight forward rake. The truck levels out with a medium load. As far as mixing different lift heights, I think that could be an expensive mistake.

My spring setup was initially 2.5 Skyjackers up front and 6" Syjackers in the rear without blocks, and Skyjacker Nitro shocks, which I believe are really just Rancho 5000s without the Rancho logo. No other suspensions mods, initially. The rear has a good solid feel on straight line launch due to losing the blocks (little or no axle wrap), but after that it just totally sucked. Almost undriveable, IMHO. Sqautted way too much under load and wallowed around the corners like the back end wanted to go in front ALL the time. Scary. Sway bars front and rear along with Timbrens all around made it good. But never any problems with the front. A bit rougher than the 3rd gen gasser, but not too bad.
