Silence is Golden
I used peel and seal along with good rubber carpet padding to sound deaden my cab. It worked real well. I just went on a 1600 mile trip with the wife and it was nice. The wife was impressed with how much quieter it was. She use to complain that a long ride gave her a headache, but not this time.
It was well worth the weekend of work.

I used some of this stuff in a jeep once and it worked quite well.

Have a partial roll of it left I have been wanting to get in the truck.

I'm planning on doing the same thing! I'm glad to hear that it was a nice improvement.
Most of your local Car audio shops will carry or can order Dynamat. Same type of stuff. Just cut it to shape, peel off the cover and stick it on. It kind of molds to the shape of what you stick it on.
I know a guy who bedlinered the interior of his cab and it worked really well but I bet that would be a mess if you didn't completely strip your cab!

chass, my 91 is rhinolined in and out. if you want the spray in bedliner to make a big difference it needs to be THICK. the bed of my truck now has close to 1/2" of liner and when you whack it with something you would be amazed. the interior of the cab unfortunately was not sprayed nearly as thick as i would have hoped, i am now looking at some kind of sound deadening and rubber matting over the top of that.
Boat stuff usually is a little pricey but West Marine and Boater's World carry "engine sound" deadening material in sheets of varying thicknesses. Check it out online. www.westmarine.com.
