Side moulding adhesive ??
Just got my 91.5 back (replace trans.), but some of the side moulding has popped loose. So what do you think is the best adhesive to stick it back on with, ( just one strip on drivers side). I also picked up a 92 D250 (roll over) to have for parts. "IF", i decided to use some of the body moulding from the 92 , is there a proper way to do so without ruining the moulding?

When I painted my early 98 12 valve I took off the emblems and some of the molding. I used this 3M tape I got from amazon and it has been on for over a year.

It might also be important to verify how well the trim piece conforms to the shape of the mounting surface...The mounting surface is more rigid than the trim piece if the trim is twisted or misshapen in a manner which doesn't exactly match...The twisted trim piece, which will retain some of its tensile strength after being forced to conform to the body panel, can over time pull against the adhesive releasing its hold...
Even with that I use 3M cleaning solvent and 3M adhesive to reattach trim...
