shifting seems, well, sticky
shifting seems, well, sticky
Now, it could just be me and my lack of familiarity with diesels, but it seems like my automatic transmission is really stiff, or sticky, into the higher gears.
You know what I mean, going along at 45mph or so, and the engine is revving up picking up speed, and then, *UNH!* it goes into the next gear. Seems fine at first and second...
Am I just pushing too hard? Is my little transmission leak hurting me? (I loose hardly anything, and have been adding drops every month or so, and the liquid that I inevitably spill out of the thing looks clean and smooth)
See my thread on that issue here
I've only been adding to the front transfer case, not the rear (because that takes a different oil, right?) could that be my problem?
just trying to keep on top of things,
Tys
