which sensor controls speedo?

My speedo has been reading very low at times, then will spike right up to my actual speed-never goes over. I checked the trans and found that mine has 2 wires that goto a sensor. Does this control speed? And the rear diff sensor then covers RWAL?

YES remove the 2 wired sensor and make shore that is not trying to strip in side and them make shore the splings line up when you put it back to gether....... it mite fix it.

the sensor in the rear diff is only for the ARWAL or anti-lock brakes!

CS.. the connector tends to get corrosion in it , so a good dab of electical grease in teh female side before you reconnect it will help assure a good contact. Also check the gear reducer and generator to make sure they are snug, they can work loose.

I did check them I yesterday-a hair tightening was all. I remove the sensor and take a look, grease her up and see what I have. I noticed that a new sensor isnt the cheapest
