no its a different shaft. SBC can modify the clutch to run in a getrag but since I bought my custom order SBDD 3250 for $1300 I dont think $1100 plus the cost of getting it changed over will be worth it. A week before I bought my clutch they were on sell for $1000 but I just missed that deal. Still though, for a custom built clutch made for drag racing and hard launches $1300 wasnt a bad price.

 

But I thought that the NV4500 and GETRAG had same diameter shaft and same spline pattern cause if you look at all the clutches for sale they always range from years 89-02 for the small shaft even on SBC's site they say the same thing not saying that I don't believe you I'm just curious how they are different.

 

yes they do I have a 3600 dd in my getrag same as small shaft 4500 mine was 1795 tho

 

Ok that's what I had thought cause on all the single disk clutches like I said above run for years 89-2002 long as it is the small shaft Thanks
