how much lift do you have in the red reg cab to fit the 40's. i have a 92 xcab longbox and want to fit 38.5x16 baja claws

36" fit with no lift or trimmed fenders.... the rub on corner bumps though.

38's might require slight fender trimmage if you go with a smaller lift

IMO, 6" on 37's looks good.

Driving on 38-40" tires is rediculous. My buddy has a 97 F350 Stroker with 40's on it lifted 10" and he daily drives it and on the highway he can't go over 65 or it's all over. forget about hitting a bump at 65, you'll go off the road.

I have a 79 f250 with 40" boggers and it does fine as long as you're not carving corners.

*ridiculous

I agree with you though. These trucks look good with 6" lift with 37" tires under it or 4" with 35" tires

Maybe he doesn't have it set/up right then or Dodges handle better I could cruise down the road at 80 mph with 1 hand on wheel no bounce or shake or anything but to each there own
