running a little rough

Hello, Lately my 93 has a little shake to it when taking off slow. (not the normal diesel boogie) Nothing major but it seems to be running a little rough mainly off idle. (or at least thats when I notice it) So my ? is what are the signs of dirty injectors or the injector pump starting to go? Again its really hard to notice but I know it wasnt there before. It starts fine and seems to run ok. Just looking to prevent a problem. THANKS

Run a 2-4X dose of injector cleaner through the tank. Rough running is one sign of injectors needing work.

Auto or manual? Is it an engine miss or a driveline thing?

Hello, its an auto and it seems to be worse on the first start up in the morning. It does feel a little like a misfire on a gasoline engine. But today it really didnt seem to be there. I changed the fuel filter not to long ago but I think it might be due again. I'll try that and see if it helps. On the injector cleaner what brand do you suggest? Thanks

Mine misses in the morning for a bout a block then clears up.

(I blame this on air getting into the lines overnight, If it sits for a week it dies a mile down the road and I need to crack the injector lines to get it to run again)
