Anyone buy injector tips from rocken tech before? or any other products? I got their 14mm h&r in my other VE I'll be putting on soon but was curious about their 6x18 tips. They seem to be the cheapest around from what I've found especially for their size. I think they said they are the 155* spray angle from when i called them a while back. I plan on putting them in my stock injectors and setting them up-I have access to a pop tester and have messed with other 12 valve injectors on it before. Do I wand 155* spray angle or 145* with my 92 intercooled motor? I remember seeing which is best for non intercooled pistons intercooled, and 2nd gens and so on but I can't remember them now. Just wondered if anyone else had experience with their products. If all is good, I think I'll order them next week if the spray angle and reviews are right.

 

145* is what you want.

Those pods however are 155* ish...

 

Folks say the 155`s will make more power but you really need the proper piston to see the benefits. I`ve run pods @ 155 and now 7x10`s @ 158(!?!)...if I ever get another set of sticks they will DEF be the proper angle. Don`t get me wrong, the pods and the 7x10`s make great power, and the 7x10`s actually run cooler/cleaner/better than the pods but they are still a compromise as far as spray angle, and that causes haze...I hate hate hate sitting at a stoplight and having that eyebleeding haze wafting all over the place, I try to keep my soot/smell footprint as small as possible because I don`t want the enviro-idiots coming after me (or the rest of us).... but those 7x10`s DID put the smackdown on a Powerstroke today (ok ,if no one`s around I *might* be goaded into a race,lmbo)...it`s hard to pass up some flatbiller kid blowing smoke all over you when all your trying to do is drive to the store for some stuff. He wont underestimate a beat up rusty old 1st Gen ever again methinks,lol.
