Does anyone know if the reverse light switch on a 518 is internal to the trans or is it outside somewhere? The master catalog at NAPA does not show one for an automatic, just the manual trans ones.
I am assuming my switch is bad as it leaves the the reverse lights on when I switch from Park to Drive.

 

It is part of the neutral saftey switch. It is on the dr side of the trans and has 3 wires coming out of it.
