Talking Remember that bad death wabble? Well its gone now.

All it cost was $30 for a ballance and rotate. The front tires were wearing a little funny so I decided to get them done and it now drives strait and smooth. I dont know if it will fix everyones wabble but it sure made a night and day difference in mine.

There's not much in the front end of a stock straight axle setup that will create a death wobble. Even a totally messed draglink and shot tie rod ends will most of the time only add to the natural dodge wander....if you get the deth wobble on a 1st gen, balance the tires first, then look at wheel bearings, THEN look at the rest of the front end. My king pins are factory and still kickin

ditto on the kingpins, 257k and still tight. Steering gearbox is a little loose, but I'd expect so after 257k. My 92 drives better than a lot of the newer one's I've had.

When I recently got new tires the tire store used two lugnuts with conical tapers to center the wheels before the standard dodge lug nuts were used. they said that they did this because the stock dodge lug nuts do not center the wheels very well. If you look at the clearance between the lug nuts and the wheels, it seems to be a good argument.

Your death wobble may have left simple because you remounted the wheels.

That could be but I dont have stock rims or lug nuts. I've put 550 miles on it since and still running smooth.
