Rear Lift Block Removal
Rear Lift Block Removal
My truck has some serious axle wrap problems that need to be taken care of. I was thinking of removing the rear blocks and getting some lift springs to just bolt right to the axle, I want to keep it the same height just get rid of the blocks. I was thinking either 4 or 6 in lift springs would do it. Anybody done this before, can somebody give me a part number on some skyjacker springs?
Yeah, when the old girl starts diggin into some deep heavy snow the rear end starts hopping all over the place. I will look into skyjacker. Can I bolt the springs onto my axle with the existing spring pads or am I going to have to put some different ones on?
There were some recent pictures somewhere on here of a set of custom-fabricated spring-hangers that lowered the springs, thus eliminating the blocks.
