This is a stupid question, but what is the spline count on our rear axle shafts?

I think Dodge switched from 35 spline to 32 at some point in `91. Only way to be sure is to pull a shaft, you might get the info of the B.O.M. # on the axle.

I have had the shafts out (doing the brakes), but never bothered to count the splines. Took the plunge on a later model LS carrrier -- guess I'll just have to re-sell it if she don't fit . . . Seemed like swapping out to an 80 was more trouble than it's worth.

We'll see how many years it takes me to get around to swapping the carrier . . .
