Which Rancho shock?

I am not sure what suspension has been installed on my truck because the previous owner had the underside coated and I cant tell what shocks are on the truck. I know the truck has some sort of small lift on it because my front springs have a 7 leaf spring pack and my friends 89 only has a 6 leaf pack. My fender is 9.5 inched from the top of the tire and his 89 is only 7 inches. I was looking at the Rancho 5000 shocks for the front and cant decide on what one to get, the shock for a stock truck or for a lifted truck. Sitting on level ground it is 19.5 inches from the top shock bolt to the bottom. Rancho lists their stock shock at 20.25 inches extended and 12.87 compressed. The lifted shock is listed at 26.62 extended and 15.12 collapsed. Is only being able to extend 3/4 of an inch with the stock shock going to be enough with my lift? Or is only being able to compress 4 inches with the lifted shock going to be enough? Not sure what to do and I really need some new front shocks.

Sorry such a long first post. I was thinking of doing the longer ones, but with the plow on the front of the truck that is only going to leave a little bit more squish before the shocks bottom out. It seems that my suspension is right in the middle of the two shocks. Should I look at someone besides Rancho?

Hey Rocco.. i just went through the same thing ,,sort of??? My d350 x cab ,put new ranchos all around . The rite., frnt., pulled off twice( the top bushing & washer pulled through the hole). Truck would slam over ,even little bumps. Turns out the frnt., shoks were 1.5- 2 in. too short!!! My fault,, i didn't know there were 2 in., spacers under the frnt., springs. Sometimes we just think we are paying attention,,, I went to parts house &apol i i i gized. I offered to pay for 2nd set of shoks.
