Are these the correct ratios for a G360?

1st 5.53
2nd 3.02
3rd 1.6
4th 1.0
5th 0.77

For those of you who pull, I am curious what gear you run.

If those ratios are right 1st in 4hi would be a little higher than 2nd in 4lo.
3rd in 4lo is a big jump, 19.63 to 11.24 for a final drive.

Right now I have the pump maxed, NonIC, pulled the fuel pin, seeing 40 psi boost. I think my clutch will hold. I am planning on having atleast a 1000# on the front end.
Do I have a chance at running 3rd in 4lo?

Any thoughts would be great.

 

I am pulling in 2nd Hi now with the 3600 South Bend clutch in 7,500lb and 8,500lb class. I am trying 4th low in 6,500lb class next Saturday.
I don't know the ratios for Getrag but 2nd 4hi is faster than 3rd 4lo.
What clutch are you running? I tried 3rd Lo with the stock clutch, it took off but only made it 80ft before i burned it up.

 

Well if my ratio's are right. here's the final drives with a 3.55 axle:
1st 4lo 38.87
2nd 4lo 21.22
1st 4hi 19.63
3rd 4lo 11.24
2nd 4hi 10.72
4th 4lo 7.03
3rd 4hi 5.68


I have a single disk 6 button clutch.

 

clutch might not hold. i have burnt up 2 before i relized i needed 2 just spend the money. I usally pull 2nd hi on a good track or 1st hi

 

Do you have the getrag still?
What gears?

 

i have been pulling in 2nd lo, i think i have the power to use 3rd lo but i haven't had the guts to see if the clutch can hold it, thought about 1st high but that is harder on the trans,
mine has 3:54s no lockers and LT235/85/r16s all terrains
