Yeah, so the pulls were a big slope mess. We got to pull but after about 30 pulls and the sled being moved 5 times out of those pulls they canceled the event for the night. I lowered tire pressure and even got a hold of 1200lbs of suit case weights from a friend to put me right at the top of the weight class. I did just as good as everyone else, spin all four or 5 tires for that matter and go no where but dig holes for the next guy to make worst. So the pulling organization who has the sled decided to give everyone who pulled in the street legal diesel class because I guess there was a bunch of unhappy campers there about the whole situation.

Yea usually the stock converter trucks don't do that well.
add the fact its non lockup and you get a truck that has the power to pull but wont get to the ground. lol

usually at the buck you can tell what trucks have stock converters or weak aftermarket ones because the engine will be at 3500 rpm at the end of the pull and the tires aren't spinning. lol

Tires were spinning fine, I tried it in four low and high. the sled was just sunk in the ground to much. We had fire works going to everything stopped and then after the fireworks were done I was the second one to pull. A twin turboed 24 valve in front of me didn't even move the sled!

Southbend is probaly better than any other diesel clutch company out there. Look at how many pulling trucks use sb clutches. 80% of them i bet.

If you're running a single disk than i guarantee you it aint gonna work with pulling.
