Project Dually Pics

Well, I have been working on this truck here and there since last fall, the guy hasn't been in a big hurry and is kinda a budget job. So here is a few pics of it.

New brakes, ball joints, front susp bushings, new brake lines, sandblasted/painted frame, Fixed rust on the rocker, Cut out roof rust/repaired, new interior, guages, 4" turbo back with Aero turbine Muffler, new tires, pump tuned, O.D kit, Cold air kit, kdp tabbed and I think thats it, all I can remember at the moment. Original paint.

i know its a lot to ask but thanks for all info!

well, the door pannels were cleaned really good and painted with the trim paint. The carpet on the side is original. The flooring I bought from Summit. It is made by nifty. It fit real nice too. It is grey, I ordered charcoal first and didn't like it in there, and It was for a 4wd But I might put that in my personal truck. I took the seat to a guy locally that does that stuff, he used new seat foam and everything. So maybe check with ur local upholstry shop. The stock looking fabric was still available he said.

What brand/color paint did you use on the gauge pod/door panels? How well did it match?

I just cleaned/degreased the motor really good and painted it with a high temp semi flat paint, I'm not sure how long it will last. Like I stated, it was kinda a budget job. Im sure it will bur off the manifold, but I think all the rest on the turbo and stuff will hold up good.

Wow,
That is almost what my truck looked like when I bought it back in 1999 except mine is a 1991.
My paint was taken down to the metal and repainted with Dark Metallic Quartz.

You did a great job.
Jim
