As you can see, if you remove the overloads the old trucks flex out OK! Nothing crazy but they'll get you through anything you'd tackle out in the woods....

Ok, so its not a good video. I set out to try and solve my steering issue with some test runs in this pond. Shortly before this video I lost the ability to shift out of first thanks to a dirty trans filter. And as you can see towards the end I break the front u-joint on the rear shaft and it just drops out.
Sorry it is a second gen but this is mine in the pine barrens NJ last year.

We will have to get together at Rausch sometime. I don't wheel my Dodge there but I am up there all the time towing my Jeep. I would love to see a diesel out on the trails.
