Post Pics of your bumper/brushguard
I got one off a 70's chivy that had a winch (sans winch). I knew I would need to modify the frame mounts but it was really too narrow for my Dodge. It wasn't quit wide enough for my tastes although it looked right on the chiv. So now its a really big and heavy boat anchor

my 1st rear bumper that I made and Im getting rid of ( too much drop for me hangs up some times but very strong plus would have to lift to make work with body lift) and then there is the one I made and will stick with the grillguard is off a 00 Chevy burb and I made the bumper part.
Don't ask me where I got this. It came with the truck and the PO doesn't remember either:

The one that 1stgen545 posted looks like the same brushguard but has a real bumper attached to it, nice job!

Id have to disagree. We ran those for years on several ranch trucks. 1 first gen, and 2 on our 98 chevy, another one on the latest chevy. Fences, cows, you name it, many hard hits...no damage.
I'll bet you any money it's alot stronger than the plastic grill, at any rate.
