Highway mileage stayed at 18.5 MPG @ 70 mph. In town dropped to 14.5 mpg from 16 mpg.

Highway mileage stayed above 20 mpg @ 65. Around town it dropped from 17 or so to 15, probably due to my right foot as much as anything in the design of the PODs.

I get 20-21 back and forth to work. Got 17.5 the other night towing car trailer for about 200 miles, mostly freeway, a lot of stop and go tho.

19.5 mpg daily driving to work and back. Towing, just got 9 mpg going to NY with a 1/2 ton dodge on the trailer, around 10,000 lbs towed weight. But with a 20 to 30 mph headwind. 13 mpg is the normal pulling our gooseneck at highway speeds(65+mph).

I get about 12-14 arround town and freeway. any suggestions on why i may be getting such bad mileage compared to everyone else. all you guys get arround 17 or so. i bought the truck about 2 months ago and it is all stock with the exception of bosch injectors. the previous owner had them installed and i dont know specifics about them. any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated.

Rearend gears seem to be the big factor. There are 4.10s and 3.54s with the manual trans and 3.07s with the auto. Alot of the guys here have their timing advanced as well which helps with mileage. If you fill out your sig. it will help get better answers.

I got 18.5 highway, 17 in town before them, and it seemed to drop it down about 1MPG. But they were worth it, the truck is night and day more fun to drive.

SObasicly i would only lose about 2 mpgs around town depending on my big toe but would give me around 60 hp of fun for those mud runs now is a 12 cm housing good enough for pods

oh in that case i guess it depends what u want from the truck a 12 will give you great spoolup but like i said with pods she will most likely get a little toasty and ur prob gonna need to let off of her before you want to.

A 12 cm will not be enough unless you keep the pump settings conservative. A 16 or 18.5 cm would be a better choice - you don't want to have to let off in the middle of the mud pit. It's an automatic so it's only gotta spool up once anyway.
