plug in connector

There's a connector with two male ends and four wires attached to it right next to the hood release, is this the tach plug?

Thanks

Uhm. From what your describing, I dont think so.
The tach plug should be somewhere around the left side of the fuse box. Its kinda high up under the dash. Its a 4-prong female black and blue plug, if I remember correctly.

could be wrong though.

I found it a few months back when I was planning to get a tach but just havent had that extra cash to get it.
Im sure someone else will chime in with to either confirm or shoot down my response.

I had my dash apart 6 months ago and I think I saw the plug your talking about. I thought maybe I got lucky.
