Hissing Booster

My 92 had the hissing thing with occasional loss of pedal. This usually occured when sitting at a light with light pedal pressure. A new booster cured the problem until a few weeks later, when the improved booster pointed out a borderline M/C. Slid through a red light from 45MPH, with only the rear brakes doing any of the stopping. New M/C cured that!! Luckily, the guys coming the other way sat and watched as I blew through the intersection and finally stopped about 1/8 of a mile later. YeeHaw!

Here are my symptoms:
-Spongy pedal all the time
-Brakes will usually stop the truck ok, but sometimes my foot goes right to the floor and the truck keeps on rolling; this happens maybe 1 in 10 times, but that is one time too many
-All brake lines and hoses are brand new, master cylinder is a new unit, not a reman
-Brake light on dash does not usually come on when my foot goes right to the floor
-No brake fluid leaks anywhere, reservior is always full
-Pedal "hisses" when depressed
-Drivers front bleed screw will usually hiss at me when opened, but the brakes have been bled 20 times, no exaggeration
-Master cylinder has been bench bled

This is really starting to bother me, as i cannot drive the truck in case it does not stop, and i am getting sick of throwing parts at it. I am thinking brake booster, but what is a sign that it is on its way out? ANy help is more than appreciated.

I've got the same problem as you.The one thing I did do was with the motor off I stood on the brakes and the pedal was solid so I am thinking mine is the RWAL valve. With the trailer I can feel that I don't have much for for brakes in the rear as I can smoke the fronts even with a mushy pedal but the truck doesn't want to stop.
