This may be a long shot, but is there any way to adapt one of these to a VP44 24V? I'm looking at an AirDog 100, but this might be an option. Sorry if it's already been asked, but I'm wiped out right now. Long night at work...

Might get more answers in the 2nd Gen forum. I bet there is a different pre bent tubing for the VP44.

It could work, if you wanted to put a cam in that has the lobe to run the pump.

Hey guys just did this mod and noticed a nice increase in power on top end. I wanted to share I got my pump from Oregon Fuel Injection for Around 75 shipped. It is a Delphi pump. Low pressure part # is J936320. The one listed for VE on there website is the wrong part #

i am in the middle of my pump install and wanted to let you guys know that i do not think the new fuel line is necessary. i have successfully rebent my original tube and it appears that it will work fine. i will report back with final results.

to rebend the original tube you need a high quality tubing bender like the imperial lever style bender. i say put your money in the bender and make your oe tube work. much better investment time and money wise.

update. there is no need for a new hard tube. you can bend the old one, which i did. better yet you can cut it, bend a 90 elbow out of the pump and install a primary filter and use the stock filter as a secondary filter--which is what i have now done. i installed a racor 500fg.

I have a 2nd generation lift pump off my 94 and i want to install it on my neighbors 92 first gen that has a failing LP. So far I figure i can spend just under 30 bucks because I have everything off my 94 including the aluminum pre heater deal that i can chop up and use for a spacer.

Can i just throw a lighter spring in this thing from somewhere to make it work? I dont want to screw around with a dang regulator

Thanks

Spence
